Undue Influence Claims

In addition to family provision claims and questions about capacity, disputes sometimes arise in deceased estates when family members believe that particular individuals exerted undue influence on the way in which a will was made.

Teece Hodgson & Ward specialists expertly advise in these matters.

“Undue influence” cases are very difficult to prove in court. For this reason, it is important that anyone considering making such a claim obtains authoritative advice from lawyers who are both truly experts in and fully familiar with this area of law.

Equally, executors faced with such a claim need to understand their duties to beneficiaries named in the will and need dependable advice and strong representation when responding to claims of undue influence.

Teece Hodgson & Wards wills and estates specialists, including six Accredited Specialists, have the requisite knowledge, experience, and skills to advise on and deal with such claims.
