Emma completed a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) whilst working as a paralegal at a boutique law/accounting firm. She was admitted as a solicitor in 2012 whilst working as a Legal Researcher to the Honourable Associate Justices Hallen (as his Honour then was), Macready and Harrison at the NSW Supreme Court. She then worked as a Tipstaff to the Honourable Justices Davies and Garling at the NSW Supreme Court. She then worked as a solicitor at one of the big four accounting firms in the tax litigation team. Thereafter she worked as a solicitor at a boutique law firm doing tax litigation, tax planning, estate litigation and commercial litigation.
Emma predominantly works on contested estate litigation, acting on behalf of both plaintiffs and estates in matters involving testamentary capacity, family provision claims and other estate administration suits. Emma is also actively involved in settlement negotiations and mediations on behalf of our clients.
Emma is currently studying her Master of Laws (specialising in Wills and Estates). She is a Fellow of The Tax Institute and former Secretary of the NSW Law Society Young Lawyers Tax Law Committee.
