Covid-19 continues to have an impact in Australia and we are conscious of the need to ensure the safety and well-being of our clients, visitors and staff. We continue to take steps to ensure we can provide prompt, effective legal advice and services, while maintaining a safe environment for our clients, visitors and staff.

Subject to any restrictions in the NSW Government Health Orders, our office is open for in-person appointments during normal business hours, for appointments made in advance.

We can also provide urgent advice, subject to availability, where necessary for Estate Planning needs in particular.  If your matter is urgent and a face-to-face meeting is needed, please contact us by phone or email to discuss if an appointment can be made in line with any current government restrictions.

Signing and witnessing documents remotely

Technology can now be used to sign and witness certain legal documents.  This makes signing easier during Covid-19.

While there are still requirements for a witness to see a person signing documents in real time, in some cases this can be done using video conferencing technology and remote identification.  The changes have made it possible to reduce the need for physical meetings, while still completing important documents and transactions, however not all documents qualify for remote signing.
